TRILLIUM TECHNOLOGY - CHIROPRACTIC PROSCRIBE ™
FREE TRIAL QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE © 2002

Thank you for downloading Trillium Technology's demo version of Chiropractic ProScribe. The demo of ProScribe provides you with the opportunity to experience ProScribe's best features including ease of creating new patients, entering clinical data and generating complete, concise reports. Because this is a free trial, there are some features that are not available. These features include inability to change exam dates, delete data or modify patient names. There is also a limit of 10 patients for your trial database.

This document will assist you in exploring ProScribe's functionality; it is organized in the following way:

You may see an icon corresponding to a toolbar icon on ProScribe's main screen. This is followed by the name of the feature and a function key that can be used as a "hot key" when available. The line below indicates how to access the feature off ProScribe's main menu.

One-on-one training via phone is available for a $56. This training includes unlimited software support for 30 days. If you decide you would like a personal training session, call us at 800-522-2504 to schedule a time!

BEFORE YOU BEGIN...

There are a number of areas in ProScribe that can be set to your particular preferences. It is worth a few minutes to setup your ProScribe software. These settings can all be found under the File menu option. Feel free to explore all of these settings as they are all available and functioning with the demo version. These are thoroughly discussed when you sign up for a one-on-one training session.

We strongly recommend you do the following before you begin entering patients:

File | Setup | Word Processor

By default, ProScribe will use WordPad when you choose to Preview your reports after generating. If you would like to use a different word processor use the Browse button to locate your desired word processor. Please note, ProScribe is not compatible with Microsoft Works 2000.
Microsoft Word is often the word processor of choice (although not required). Generally, Word can be found in the following directory on your hard drive:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Word.exe

File | Setup | Clinic Doctors

ProScribe can store up to 21 examining doctor names. Select the desired button (A - F) for each of your clinic's doctors and enter their names in the boxes provided.

File | Setup | Preferences | Report Generation
There are many options to explore here, all are self explanatory.

We also highly recommend that you print a copy of our Daily form.  You can make copies of this form at your clinic for use during patient visits.  Mark your findings on the form, then use ProScribe to enter you data on screen using your mouse.  See "CREATE A NEW FORM ON SCREEN" below for details on entering your data.
